Exactly 365 days ago, coincidentally the same night I bought my Macbook Pro, was the day the “Insane” music video released. It was a nice song but it was just like any other Korean pop song to me. Whenever I thought of that day, it was just the day I got my dream laptop, not the day BTOB debuted. However, it wasn’t until you boys redeemed yourselves with “Press Play”. “WOW” was something new to my ears and I felt like I was in the 90’s. From there that’s where it all started.
I’ve watched MTV Diary, B+ Diary and Sik’s Sense and it gave me a glimpse of who you boys are. Onstage, you’re a group of boys who were definitely born to beat. I’ve never seen such a talented boy group. Playing the guitar, piano, and drums, composing music, writing lyrics, acting, rapping, and skateboarding! As well as singing acapella and harmonizing, especially. You’re not just a group of pretty boys who can dance well. Offstage, you’re just like any other group of boys, just like me. Acting crazy with your peers, staying home playing video games or lying on bed using the computer. Like the leader Eunkwang, I get scared easily and I’m kind of a pervert. Like Changsub, a lot of my friends say I’m weird but that’s just me, I’m unique. And like Peniel, I’m really shy and quiet but to the people I’m close with, I’m a completely different person. And for a group of boys having to live without their parents at a young age is difficult, I would have a difficult time too living without mines. To me, you’re not just “Born To Beat”, but “Boys To Boys,”boys will always be boys.”
Starting from the bottom, you boys worked hard and never gave up, and are on your way to the top, living true to your name. You’ve gained the hearts of many fans and turned heads gaining attention with “Press Play,” especially. Thank you for giving happiness through your music and dorky personalities to your fans, Melodies. I’m not really a huge fan of boy groups and when I am, it’s usually not for a long time, but I will try my best as a fan to support you to the fullest. Happy 1st Anniversary BTOB!
